Can anyone hook me up with some sort of Amsoil discount?
Not sure how it works, but my local distributor sticks to the Amsoil MSRP. I think I remember a post from a while ago with someone saying they could supply it at a discount. Anyone have any info on that?

Think its a preferred customer for $20 a year, dealer status requires a bit more.

Err... by paying $20 to become a preferred member, I would save $6.46 off my order (coincidentally..
...that is just about how much they charge for shipping, so it would be the same as buying them at full MSRP from my local distributor).
7qts @ $6.15 = $43.05
15% off (Perferred Customer Discount) = $6.46
Shipping = $5.95.
Total Savings for paying $20 = $0.51
:-(

Need to find someone in your area that is a customer already then.
I have an uncle as a dealer here and he goes through a few $Ks in products annually. Makes sense for me as well. I don't think I'd join if it was just for 2 oil changes a year.
...oh and buy stuff in gallons when you can for quantity savings.
