It has a kevlar clutch!
and stage 3 torq!
But I just think this might be a strain for the drivetrain all the way across the country
any thoughts?

I think youre right. But I need to clarify, its like a large sofa, one of those sex sofas from a club
type thing? Its as large as a matress , king, but its a sofa, and IM attached to it and was thinking of bringing it back to la when I get relocated out there.
but maybe Ill have to write it off...
btw would the s4 be able to pull a trailer without much trouble? or strain if I was easy on it? Kevlar clutch!

They make a class II hitch for the S4. If you are towing under 2000 lbs you are okay. Change the trans fluid before you go and once on the road and don't go over 70

You speak the truth! I bought it in LA 2 years ago!! from a portugese hottie! it only has 2 stains
she said they are from food.
But it looks like a very strange type of food if it was, maybe like gravy or soup?
I dont know if its food stain...

I tow with mine - a 600Lb 4-wheeler on a 600 lb trailer, and I tow boats but the
furthest I've towed is 4 hours one-way. The car tows beautifully with the BBK and stage 3 power.
The only thing I would caution you on is the wind resistance factor. The trailer I use has a lift-gate ramp that sticks up about 4or 5 feet. It's steel mesh but still creates a huge amount of drag. On the highway the drag causes the car to run in positive manifold pressure territory much more than usual - resulting in more turbo heat and higher oil temps.
If you can keep your load relatively flat and no higher than your car's roof - I would say go for it. Especially since the weight of a sofa anfd a couple of mattresses is minimal.
Lay the mattresses flat if you can and then put the sofa on top of them.
If your trailer has one of those lift-gate ramps - remove it.
Good luck.
