Why would you want to do that?
The answer is yes, and a good majority of us that have changed them, do.
I'm curious why you ask though? Did you come up with the idea on your own? Or did someone else suggest it? Anyway, if you search the archives here, you'll see a ton of info on people using them, and never once anyone suggesting they can't be used. I would think that however you heard about the idea would have also said that they work, or perhaps you doubted your source?

I just called my dealer...
He said he cant put in TT DVs he needs to order the S4 DVs for my S4 and they are plastic on top of that. I definetly think I should get metal. Many people have told me to get 06A-145-710N dvs which are the TT model, but my dealer said you cant put them in an S4....
Any quick advice???

They are much stronger and less prone to breaking than the stockers
I've also heard they react quicker but i don't think thats been proven, nor is it that big of a deal. They are also pretty cheap $23 each or so from www.ECStuning.com
Edit: the diaphram is what tears in the DV's, the 710N's have stronger diaphrams i believe, the outside is exactly the same except for the part number printed on it.
