can a s4 engine be made to fit in a 99 a4 easily , what would be needed other than the tranny,motor?

can a s4 engine be made to fit in a 99 a4 easily , what would be needed other than the tranny,motor?

It can be done, but its not cost efficient. Search and you'll find more.

just curious cause i see engines come and go for fairly cheap and i found a 99 a4 for 1800

Motor, tranny, rear diff, ECU, harness & cluster.

By the time you are done, you will spend more than the 15K to just buy an S4

Default its pretty easy, all you need is the motor, front clip, harness, engine acc.,ecu......

its all bolt on...if you can DIY it would be far less than you think

Default if i did it i would be making it a stripped down track car. i am also looking at throwing a skyline

sr20det engine in a 240sx with a gtr35 turbo kit. just trying to see what is easiest and cheapest. i would rather making audi track car but i know i can get a complete engine with ecu, harness, and tranny for 2800 for the nissan. and a turbo with fueling is cheap as hell for it as well. just not sure if the way of the ricer is the route i want to take.

skylines never came with sr20det. and a gt35 is too big for a track car with a 2L(but ok for a drag)

oh hmmm are sr20det's bluebird engines. at any rate the skyline engines aree around the same price
