I've had this code like 5 times in the last 2 months.......
Car is going in tomorrow to dealer for 2nd code confirmation---mine is bank 1. Now it gets replaced under 80k mile warranty.

There is a Service Bulletin for this.
Audi set the cat efficency spec. too tight in the ecu software. They offer an ecu flash to fix the problem if you have a stock chip in your ecu.
Some after market chip suppliers have integrated this into there software. For example APR has made the change in their stage 2+ software, but not their stage 1 program.
