Default Can you have the rear O2's turned off completely with a custom tune?

Say for running test pipes or not wanting to replace rear o2's from age, etc. I know APR had it in there 2+ code, just wondering. Not sure how far custom tunes have come yet. Are tuners able to do a full custome tune with different fueling parts or only what they sell/want you to use?

Default If the tuner is knowledgable and willing, anything system can be disabled or manipulated

to achieve a desired result. If you are interested, please give me a call and can explain in detail how we can help get you a custom tune. And depending on your location remote tuning is available.

Default The tuners I know of only tune their hardware.

If you have the same size injectors and MAF they can do it, but if their fueling setup is different than yours in anyway they won't tune your car.

Default Well what's so "custom" about that?

It's a shame they couldn't make tuning easier for these cars. I had a AEM in my old Talon and have HP tuners for the vette. They make tuning what ever you have an easy task if you have the time and a dyno or very open road

I'm not in any need for it right now, but if I upgrade the turbos, etc I'd like to piece together the fueling parts and just tune it all up and be done.

Default He's not completely correct, but custom tuning implies optimizing code to a particular car...

regardless of hardware. You can see gains custom tuning on the same hardware as what the base tune was designed for.

A couple of us learned to tune our own cars. It requires quite a bit of time and effort, but it can be done. I'm almost 9 months in and still playing with my car. It makes just as much power as any other stage 3 OEM K04 equipped car and drivability is stock-like.
