Default Car breaking up under accel. what might it be?

I have APR chip (this only happens on second setting), piggies, K&N, stock twins (one's near death).

Under a near WOT condition, my car breaks up and won't push any further. I don't know if its a bad injector, fuel pump, etc. Car has 100k on it.

TIA,
Ryker

Default EGT sensor, coilpack on the fritz?

You need to VAG it for DTC's.

Sounds like the same symptoms I once had. 1 EGT sensor and 1 coilpack both replaced, problem gone.

Wouldn't happen on stock mode, only chipped.

Run a VAG plot of block 115 for WOT acceleration in 2nd or 3rd gear and post results here.

I guess I need to get one. I dont have a VAG as of yet still building up parts... any other way to test? I'm about to put car in for turbo upgrades and a refresh on the motor... timing belt etc.
Thanks.

you should get this problem resolved, or at least identified b/4 engine work, imo

2nd. Get a VAG. Most people here can help you or you can help yourself with VAG logs.

Yes, exactly. I moved that coilpack and the misfires moved with it...
