Default Car won't go into gear unless revved. Help!! (more)

So, I get into car today, no issues comin home last night. Start her up. go to put her in reverse, nope. Try to put in in other gears, not happening? WTF!? So I rev the motor to about 2k and i can force into reverse. To get it into first again, and same thing, have to rev motor. Driving with normal speeds, it shifts fine. Just from low rpm/stop it won't budge. Any ideas?

Also, pedal feel has changed. used to feel as it popped back slightly as If I could feel dis-engagement point. Now it pushes thru smoothly, and I no longer feel it. TIA for your help

Default Does the car want to move when you try to start it in-gear?

Your "when revved" qualifier tastes like a fragged pressure-plate.

Default Haven't tried that yet....

I did try putting it in gear after i shut it off, and that did work. Also, recently it developed an occasional grinding/rubbing noise when dis-engaging. Primarily when taking off in first.

Default Well, try to start it in-gear with a clear road infront of you...

if the car wants to move, it's most-likely your pressure-plate. You can check your hydraulics to be sure, but unfortunately PP's on these cars aren't the most robust things when driven hard.

Default Ok I tried to start in first...

And the car would move forward, as if it were an automnatic with the clutch fully depressed. So does this equal pressure plate, or could there be another reason?

Definitely sounds like pp/clutch issue.

Default Probably pressure-plate since your pedal returns and has resistance.

When hydraulic components fail suddenly the pedal usually becomes flaccid.
