Car won't start
 

Background on the car - '02 2+ ABT ECU. Recently took to VAST, codes read bad battery. Replaced with a red top. Worked fine for a few weeks. Today it clicked away, tried jump and push starting. Can't hear the fuel pump kick on. Would the Trottle body click with a fuel pump failure???? Fuel pump fuse intact.

Did it turn over when you jumped it?

No, starter crankes but no ignition.

When you turn the ignition on, do the c/e & epc idiot lights, light up?

Yes they do...

did you check for codes yet?

Will be able to check on Monday.

Any signs of life when you turned it over and ............
 

perhaps you can give a shout for vag-com help on your regional forum.

No signs of life. The car has done this in the past but "fixed" itself after waiting a few hours.

maybe you flooded it. call mazda and get a new motor... ;-)
