Hey,

Happy New Year everyone.

Just got back from an 11 day trip to Asia, and found my car nonresponsive. Methinks, I left the interior light on again. But no, everything is in off. Jump start doesn't work. The tow truck guys notice that if they remove the jumper cables, my instrument panel lights dim and go off, and think it's electrical. They want me to call tomnorrow and have it towed to an Audi dealer.

Thoughts, anyone?

could have a dead cell in your battery if a jump doesnt work-dead cell wont transfer juice!?!

older battery + some type of slow discharge (interior light etc)

Default My battery died of its own accord.
They don't have a very good track record.

Default Lights and accessories turn off within a certain time to conserve battery life. How did they try
jump the car?

BTDT. Mine was a shorted cell in the battery. Would not charge or jumpstart.
