Cell phone integration question for Jim De Arras...
I found in the archives that you alluded to designing a circuit that could detect a signal on the speaker and use that to mute the radio. Since my h/w design skills are embarrasingly poor, I figured you might be able to help.
I will be using the Nokia kit. I want to use the speaker to mute the 'mute' line if it is not already muted by the Nokia kit. Of course, I don't want to steal too much current from the speaker either. Do you think this is easy? PS: Your direct email seems to bounce. |
I'll respond ASAP, busy at the moment! E-Mail still hosed. Any Exchange experts out there?
Where are you located? I'm interested in seeing a Nokia Kit first hand, so I can come up with the right interface!

I'm an Exchange Server admin...what's up?

I'm in the S.F Bay area. I think your east coast...
As for the kit, of course it makes sense to see it. But I am assuming that the output itself is pretty standard, except that the logic that grounds the radio mute doesn't include while dialing like the Startac.
Good luck with the server. Tim |
