changed my coolant temp sensor mine was under the intake hose
 

just found my coolant temp sensor to find it i took the intake hose off and it was underneath i searched the forums when i looked where they said next to the firewall but i could not find it lol and i did drop the plastic piece luckely i found it underneath the car lol so now ill see if it helps with my mpg lol

and yes...swapped mine out 2 weeks ago, it paid for itself rather quickly with my MPG. what were you getting out of the gal, and what type of driving do you do.
