Changing the LED's on Blitz DTT DC from grn to red. Help
Anyone know which LEDS Blitz uses it it's DTT DC product. I am thinking you can pick these up at places like Radio Shack but the question of the day is what size and make are they ?? Anyone else try to change the display on this bad boy from Green to red ??

surface mount dudes...
I ended up pulling the green ones off the board (they are the ones that run along the bottom of the display...the ones on the side are red for the "countdown").
Then I bought some mini LED's from rat shack, drilled two holes in the case below the LCD (disassemble first), pushed them up until they touch the bottom of the LCD, and experimented with resistors until I found a good match with the dash lighting level. Wired to a circuit that comes on with the headlights.
Since then, I fully disassembled it and integrated it into the cupholder faceplate, but still used the same LED's.
Sorry can't help with the exact type used on the unit.
