Default Changing oil and noticed some leakage. Advice please...

I could not determine exactly where this leak was originating. Any thoughts? Fluid on the belly pan, slight layer on the oil pan, seems to be moving along the tranny. Valve cover gasket? I did not check my oil level before changing so I'm not sure if I was low. No issues with leaky oil filter or plug.

Default Agreed...

Look at the other pics too in his PPoster. The sides look pretty clean would you agree?

Best,

Ram

imo the #1 source of leaks is the valve cover, usually around the cam adjuster.

Default Too much oil to pinpoint. Clean it good with break cleaner and keep an eye on it. Start up top

with the valve covers down to the turbos oil lines oil pan.

Default could be lower oil pan, just replaced mine and it looked similiar to that..

what you see on tranny could be blowback, then again you could have several areas leaking, valve cover gaskets, cam tensioner gaskets, lower oil pan...any of them been replaced yet?
