Default CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

hey guys, today i was driving homee n all of sudden my check engine light came on. now idk wat i should do bring it bak to the dealership or maybe i could disconnect the battery n connect it again n maybe it will go away? plz help me idk wat i should do

have it scanned at a dealer or autozone/pepboys for free
