My check engine light has been on for a week or two and I haven't had time to get it hooked up to a Vag tool to read the codes. I don't have one, so I had to go to a shop. These are the codes I got.

16684 - P0300 Random/Multiple Misfire Detected
16687 - P0303 Cyl. 3 Misfire detected
16685 - P0301 Cyl. 1 Misfire detected

My car has been running a little rough, so I knew it was something like this. I did a little seaching and found some info about coilpacks? Does the S4 have spark plug wires or is that was the coil pack is?

I have also heard that MAF sensor could cause this problem as well. How much does these parts run (MAF sensor, Coilpacks) and which do you think i should check first?

What are the best type of plugs for the S4?

Any ideas or suggestions?
