called on Monday, got appointment first thing Wednesday morning, diagnosed and fixed without incident, and running fine.

Did you notice your car running srange at all?
Do you know if the MAF is problematic in these cars?
Seeking advise as my car is in the shop now for not running right. Kind of felt like it was mis-firing.

After the light came on, the car seemed a hair rough but I'm not sure how much was
my imagination versus reality. Service manager said they see many MAF sensor problems with VWs but not with Audis. However, on this forum, I've noted a fair number of people having this problem. Don't know how much it relates to modding but my car is stock whereas it seemed to me that most of the failures on this forum were in modded cars.
