To check what kind of box my car has, I just have to take off the plastic cover over ECU right?

Default To check what kind of box my car has, I just have to take off the plastic cover over ECU right?

No need to disconnect battery and remove ECU right?

if you can find someone with a VAG COM, it will say the box letter when they scan the car

Default just unscrew the cover, there should be a sticker with the part number. last digit is the box letter

VAG Com would be a whole lot easier, if you have access to one.

Default Cool, I have an A Box. Will be looking for a Giac-X A box sometime here. A means...

early in production huh?
