climate control unit shorted out? anyone have this problem before?

climate control unit shorted out? anyone have this problem before?
last night i went to change the temperature up a degree or two and after i changed it up once the unit seems to have shorted out. Only some of the buttons work now, the OFF, temp up and down, and the fan decrease buttons are all not responsive now. Any idea what the problem is, or should i just go to a junk yard and get a new CC head unit?

on a bright note it is now stuck at 70 degrees and still works fine for summer thank god =)
