Hi all,
I just brought a S4, and would like to add the window up/down control by remote function on my car. however, My dealership told me that they can't do it because Audi won't allow it. I live in Hartford CT area, Can anybody tell me where I can get this done? and is it worth the trouble? Thanks

They gave me a little hassle, but I said I would take my chances. But my dealer is also mod friendly, so this should be an indication of how problematic they may be down the road when you have an ECU upgrade or any other type of mod.

BTW, this cost me $35 (labor).

One recoding of the central lock module is covered by the warranty. Check the archives- I've previously posted a pointer to the Audi TSB that covers this.

Carousel in Minneapolis won't do it either. They claim it's a liability issue which sounds like a load of crap to me.
