Compustar...anything better out there today?

Paid about $300 for a new one on ebay, everything is there and a friend of mine who is a BMW tech...
is installing it for me. He previously worked at a Car Audio shop and did TONS and tons of alarm installs. Knows his stuff. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'd be careful with Compustar.
It seems to work for some people, but definately did not with my car.
My trip computer froze and I had some a annoying windsheild washer light flash periodically. It all stopped when the system was removed. Just giving you a fair warning.
The system is great... Turbo timer, adjustable sensitivity alarm and autostart. It sucked to have to remove it.

I'm sure they hope compustar doesn't find out because they don't tend to mess around....
This is our product, sell it at these prices and take the profit we allow you to have or don't sell it, is their attitude.
