I've seen the front rotors on the S4 and there is minimal clearence, yet the A6 2.7T has 16" rims with supposedly the same rotors. Where is the error, the rim size or the claim the brakes are the same?

I've checked all the litature and talked to a number people. The 2.7T has the same brake system as the S4 and has 16" wheels. I posted this a few weeks ago on this forum when people were asking of 16" wheels would fit on the S4.

There is minimal AXIAL clearance, not radial.

The 2.7T doesn't have the same suspension set-up as the S4. This may be the reason it can fit a 16" wheel? Just a thought.
