Cowl was off the car and the ecu got wet. Car will not start bad ecu?

was your ecu box open? AFAIK they seal pretty tight

Default what if i tried to put a spare A box in my m box s4 i know it won't be right but i could atleast
see if it runs and if that is the problem

Default did you dry out the ECU?
If not, I would open the box, and let it air out on the dining room table. After a day, pop it back in the car and see if it will start. If it won't, it's probably toast (most likely scenario I'm afraid).

Default too much work. no way water got in ECU box. cowl has holes all through it anyway.
first things first...

you have power when you turn the key to first notch?
(ie: is battery connected?)

yesterday i was wondering why my EFU wasn't working and remembered i hadn't plugged it in.

Default There was no cowl no ecu cover and there was apuddle of water on in and around the ecu .
i took it apart and it was fied what would happen if i put a A box in

Default did you turn the key on before you dried it? if so, thats probably what fried it.
where are you? i have a stock T box i can loan out.
