dealer service said "ECM" was done for. what is diff between ECU and "ECM"?

Default uh oh, piggie, that means that they think my ECM is shot and are gonna replace it.....

that makes no sense.

argggg

i am running 93oct APR with EMCS in it.

they are ordering an ECM by tues. i guess they dont know it is chipped.

hmmmm, but once they send off to audi, they will.

can i ask for the old ECU (the one i put APR into) back?

this all started with a CEL turning on early yesterday.

to audi.

I read in the FM that it is warrantied longer than the rest of car.

Default if they warranty it, they say they return the item, but, you may want to dig through their trash at

night, just in case ;p

piggie, i am serious, i paid a lot for my chipped ECU. any suggestions besides digging thru thrash?

Default oh, dude, i never knew it was chipped! oh man. take the chip off first and revert to stock....

then have them warrantee the thing. i can't believe they'd warrant a chipped ecu though ...do they even know?

i am totally serious too
