Dealer is useless, can AoA tell me anything?
Talking to the dealer is getting nowhere. I ask where my car is and they say, "It's on the way..." That was 4 weeks ago. I don't think it takes that long for a transport to drive up the west coast.
If I call AoA, would they be able to tell me anything about my car if I gave them a VIN# ? I'm getting a little upset with the whole scenario at this point. I just want the car to get here so I can get rid of my old car and enjoy some spirited driving.

Ask for the printout
My car dealer gets a computer printout every Monday telling them where the cars are. At least this will tell you geographically where it is. However, once it gets to port, the contractor can take however long they want to deliver the car to the dealer. Fortunately, I have a dealer who is very proactive in getting me my vehicle. He's actually taking a car carrier down to the port personally to pick up 3 cars for his customers. I really like to see a dealer work for the customer....basically it sounds like your dealer is basically not looking out for you now that he/she's clinched the sale. That sucks!! Good Luck!
