Default Did more logging yesterday afternoon, 94 octane (3/4 full), 40 deg F, 3rd gear pulls, 2 occupants...

Just trying to get an idea of how my car is running. For those that don't know, and would like to comment, I am running standard RS4 K04 turbos, MTM downpipes and exhaust, greentops, and a custom 88mm MAF (hitachi), on an RS4 airbox. Software is by REVO.

Since the last runs I did a week ago, I have changed my spark plugs for the OEM to BOSCH F5DP0R. I have noticed that the car is pulling back less timing, but the Knock sensor voltages are a little higher (temperature was about the same).

Here is the custom V&S billet aluminium straight through 88mm MAF, which will be in production within the next couple of weeks.

Default How does that MAF attach to the airbox, and is it a stock or RS4 airbox ??

When, where and how much for the MAF ??

Default It attaches just like the RS4 MAF, to an RS4 airbox.

The MAF pictured does not have the slots cut out to fit over the tabs on either side of the RS4 airbox outlet mounting holes. The production piece will likely have those slots milled out. It fits the RS4 airbox and accordian tube.

Email me for more info/pics.

I still say your airflow is way low for the MAF housing and boost you're running.

Default I recommend you be very careful in how you word things. You are NOT a paid advertiser.

I doubt you'd want this to get deleted.

Default Ummm, okay :/

I just don't see how it is *accurate* considering others with 88mm MAF are flowing almost 75 g/s more. Something is not right.

Default Oh, and cylinder 2/5 will always have the highest knock voltages because they are right next to the

sensors. Your correction factors/timing retard look fine (single digits) so I don't think there is any need to lower timing.

I'd like to see you turn the boost up to ~1.3-1.4 bar and take a 3rd gear pull *all the way to redline* while logging MAF to see what it will max out at. The low boost and early shut down are probably a big factor in why the MAF readings are so low.

I'll do that as soon as I get the SPS 3 (newest version, does fuel/timing/boost).
