did you see the speedvision show that removed cooling fan from the truck?
They replaced the belt driven fan with an electric one. I think I'll get this when the stock fan clutch gives out. It's probably cheaper than a new oem fan anyway.

I squeezed in a 16" one,

A bunch of us have it and don't think it does any bit of difference.

I know this is a common mod with Ford F150s
with the F150s it showed a slight change in mpg, like a 2-3mpg improvement, and an increase in performance at the wheels as well.

This is early 80's tech. It's been done for years on many to drop parasitic drag
on cars that have belt or direct drive fans.
