Disconnecting trunk mount CD changer?

I am trying to add Blitzsafe cable to my S4 to direct connect an iPod. I have to disconnect the CD changer in the trunk, but I want to leave it in place. Is there a simply way to unplug the connection without removing the changer?

The connector is behind the changer, feel around for a fairly thick cable. You should be able to

reach and disconnect the connection.

Yup. I did not remove the changer to unplug. I used a piece of velcro

to keep the blitzsafe adapter stuck to the top of the changer.

There is a catch you need to press down on. You can do it with one hand easily.
