Default DIY or let the shop do it?

The car is going in for tie rods and coilover install...and the brake pads are due for a change. The car has 67k on it and stock rotors. Should I a) pickup a set of new pads and have the guys do it while they're in there, b) get pads and rotors and have them do it while they're in there, or c) get both and do it myself in a couple of months when coming out of winter mode? If you're recommending choice c, how hard is that job? Many thanks!

Happy New Year!

yeah. Salty rust welded tie rods could be a problem.

Its easy to do if they are not rusted in. You might want to try it and if they are take it somewhere

Default I think they may be a little bit rusted....

plus its already going in for TB and coilover install...so the labor won't be much more.
