Meaning since it is common for B5 S4s to being doubling their stock hp/torque why aren't we seeing the same for the RS6s? Why aren't there 800hp RS6s out there? Is it that they are not capable of it, or that thier relative high cost is holding owners back?

Just wondering. Does the B5 S4 have the potential for being the fastest production Audi in aftermarket form?

I'm sure alot could be done, Level 10 the tranny, add some hybrids, bigger injectors etc.. Then have it custom tuned.

Anything is possible, you just need deeper pockets.

loves performance cars, and could easily drive the RS6. However, when it comes to modding and tinkering with cars he knows very little and isn't even inclined to figure out how to change the oil. As a result, he's left with buying cars with lots of potential, but very little desire to do anything but drive them.

First step has to be to swap in a manual transmission and that's a very big first step. :-/
