Do you find other Audis parked next to you?
Yesterday, when I parked in a public parking garage in downtown Naperville, IL, I found a spot, and went doing whatever. When I came back a couple of hours later, I found an A4 next to me. I don't think it was an enthusiast...they had the stock 16" wheels on, and I didn't see any club badges or anything.

I saw a lot of this on a recent trip.
I just got back from visiting my folks in Philly, and was first just amazed at how many more Audis I saw up there in the Philly 'burbs, compared to Austin, where Audis are relatively rare. I saw tons of A4s and A6s -- so many A6s!
One morning, I spotted two A6 2.8Q Avants (<i>two Avants!</i>) parked next to each other in a shopping center. I can go a whole month in Austin and not see an A6 Avant.
Driving in Conshohocken I saw three A4s all parallel parked in a row on the street (Hibiscus, Santorin, Silver).
I saw a pair of identical Lake Silver TT coupés parked next to each other in Suburban Square in Ardmore.
All in all, pretty cool!

I went to my local YMCA to work out the other day, and when I came out, there were no less than three other Audi's parked around me! An A6 4.2 in the space in front of me, an A4 1.8 on one side, and an older Audi 90 on the other side. That was kinda cool.

In my parking garage, I look for:
the new 1.8T GTI, an older model 911, an E36 M3 with SCCA stickers, and then some Camaro. These cars feel safe next to. I usually don't get next to the M3 because he usually parks in the spaces along the outer wall of the parking structure. The car is protected better from the weather being on the inside.
There's a guy that just moved in with an older (I'm guessing late '80s) Corvette. At first I thought, it be safe to park next to him since he has a cover too. I decided to avoid him unless the other choices are to park next to some of the cars that have pieces falling off. Here's why: He doesn't always use the cover. At first I thought that was because he is lazy sometimes, but I've seen him park in the outer spaces w/o the cover. Does he use care when he's taking off the cover? I don't know, but there's a lock to keep it on, and if he doesn't use care in taking it off, I don't want to park next to him. He looks like the kind that bought the car just because it's a Vette and doesn't really care as much as others do. If I ever talk to him, I'll find out, but for now, I'm taking caution with him.

you can't swing a dead cat around here with out hitting at least one Audi.
Plus, I passed two other S4's within 5 minutes of each other on 611 this Saturday morning. This whole area is saturated with German cars....BMW's and MB's seem to want to race a lot too. Heh heh, I upset some poor guy with his shiny new CLK430 on Friday night, and some dude with a nice black de-badged 5 series on Sunday afternoon. I really love my car.....
