although if i had to see the one the tip gives you when turning the car on i'd go insane

Default I have...
a 1996 A4. and i do not have to push the clutch in to start it. but i figgure maybe i should do it to get into the habbit, for one day when i get an S4.

Default you'll get in the habit quick...
or you'll get so sit in a car that's turned off. just be sure to remember whether or not you left it in gear...

actually to prevent the "sudden accelaration"-syndrome that nearly killed Audi in (North) America.
