I've read a lot about 0W-30 being good for cold weather but I live in a place that's basically 80 deg year round and the humidity is always between 65% and 90%. It seems that the cold weather benefits don't mean much here but are there any other benefits to 0W-30 vs. 5W-30 or 5W-40?

You could probably do 0w or 5w, but in either case I would use synthetic

the benefit is on cold starts, turbos need the instant lubrication, again always use syn
