I had stongard on my US-spec housing, it works great but I don't like it takes away the shiny feeling. just wondering if I should get it just for the protection.
and has anyone compare the difference of stongard and x-pel? I never seen x-pel but my stongard light kit is pretty thick.

I just put x-pel on my euro's
looks OK, and you are right it's not shiny, but IMHO worth the piece of mind. Pretty straight forward to install, just follow their directions. X-pel is pretty thick also.

I put them on as well..
But there seems to be a bit of haze over them..
some pasty patches on the lens.. I guess I didn't use the squeege enough..
I read that it will take a few weeks for it to dry.. I hope so.

Re: I put them on as well..
Yup the haze goes away in time. The warmer the temperature the faster it clears up. You can speed up the process by turning you headlights on even during the day time! If there are bubbles you can puncture them with a pin and then squeegee out the air\water.
