Does anyone have an audi antifreeze container? Need poisioning info..
I was mucking about on my car and managed to get some hot antifreeze engine coolant to spray out, and start steaming up when it hit the (hot) engine. I managed to inhale a small amount of it and got it all over my hands.
I recall seeing that the label on the Audi antifreeze container said 'Harmfull or fatal if swallowed or inhaled'. I didn't read the details. I was wondering if someone had the container and could post the details, or if anyone knows any details. I did some checking and ethylene-glycol inhalation doesnt seem to be a big deal, so I'm wondering if there something else in the audi antifreeze that i should be worried about.
Thanks
Reza

Sounds like you're ok; hope the above reassures you.

Doesn't sound so bad. The container I saw was white and had the inhalation warning on the front.
If it's the same container, I'm surprised they mentioned a problem with inhalation and didn't follow it up on the back.
Anyhow, thanks for looking that up

I'm not a doctor, but it seems that you probably need to inhale more of the stuff for it to hurt you than you need to drink of it. If you feel weird at all, definitely call or go to your doctor. But, depending on where you live, chances are you inhale lots worse just walking around. I know I do working in downtown NYC, 4 blocks from where the WTC used to be!
