Don't expect any info on the next S4 for at least another year... its hush hush apparently.
But also expect the next gen S4 to be a strong contender against the E46 M3, with 300+HP gobs of torque and a possible widebody RS4 (but on the new A4 platform) style kind of like the champion motors S4.
All speculation though... I have no facts to base any of this on except trends from watching Audi compete with BMW the last ten years.
