Does a faulty mass air sensor make the car give a air leaking sound? or does a air leak cause faulty
 

mass air sensor? anyone know about this? i've went to the dealer, they say undectable problem, only thing that's gone are the mass air sensors.

there is only ONE MAF sensor..and I doubt it's leaking air..what dealer did you go to?
 

can they hear the air leak or just you?

Yeah, we went for a drive. we both heard the sound. the dealer wouldn't authorize the turbo change anymore. they tell me to wait for the sound to get lounder. I'm going to another dealer though.

fix the leak. not the turbo's...if the car still has a leak , new turbo's aren't going to help
 

but yes, an air leak could cause strange MAF readings/ DTC's

The problem is that the dealer couldn't determine the problem. I think they've done a pressure test.
 

if they can't determine the problem, it's hard to fix it.

any other dealers close enough, that CAN fix a car?

Yes, i'm bringing it to another dealer to diagnose the problem.
 

Besides the dealer, who would be able to figure out the problem and fix it? any ideas?
