Default Does Oettinger RZ's fit over STOPTECH brakes? more....

Also are the a4 and s4 STOPTECH's 332 x 32 the same. Please let me know!

Rotors are the same, but S4 caliper had slightly larger pistons in it.

Default Why would you want to buy brakes designed for a car that has the opposite weight distribution.

Weight Distributions:

Porsche----40%/60% Front/Rear
Audi---------60%/40% Front/Rear

I think weight distribution would be a significant factor when an engineer designs a set of brakes for a car.

Big Reds don't go in back on Porsches. Having stopping power under the weight in front counts.

Default Porsche's have bigger brakes (rotors) in back.

As long as the combo of piston (size/number of pistons) and the rotor diameter gives the same braking torque, you're ok to switch. Then you can fine tune it by spacing the caliper further in or out along the rotor. Also using different braking pads between front and rear will help to.
