Door handle torsion spring: I just made an order of custom springs to replace the broken door

Default Not really. I just took it apart and messed around with it until I got it to work

FYI, your pads are enroute via FedEx.

Default i took my handle apart once to se how it was done so i could refinish it

when putting it back together the spring nearly broke, the metal was torn half way through. so i scratched that idea for fear of completely breaking the spring and having to buy a new handle assembly.

id like to know how these work out for sure.

Default When I took mine out, it was pretty easy. Putting it back in will be harder since everything has to

line up.

can you take the chrome handle out of the plastic housing?

I have removed the spring... handle still will not come out
