Drag results from Friday...
The absolute #'s aren't that great, but it's interesting to see the relative #'s.
Recall last Oct (warmer then than it was Fri night) I had two separate runs on 93 oct that resulted in a 12.9 and a 109mph on Production v1.2 APR code.
A few things had changed since then. On Friday:
1.) I didn't have my "ram air"
2.) I had stock brakes instead of StopTech/APR
This time, I had both the Production v1.2 code as well as a Beta v1.6AB code.
Overall, what you will see below is that:
1.) Beta is faster than Prod
2.) Prod results were better overall in Oct (likely due in part to changes noted above)
3.) Best Beta time on Friday was still slower than my Prod runs back in Oct.
Summary:
Beta will be able to easily beat my previous Prod 12.9 & 109mph if all other variables are kept the same.
Below you will see all 4 passes I made (Damn the strip was busy!!!). The first/top two are Production, while the bottom two are Beta.
Since they are somewhat hard to read, I will comment on the MPH data which better illustrates the power differences: (the slips are in the car, so I am trying to read these off the image below as well)
1/8 mile MPH:
Prod1: 80.43
Prod2: 80.30
Beta1: 84.87
Beta1: 84.53
1/4 mile MPH:
Prod1: 101.49
Prod2: 99.95
Beta1: 107.12
Beta1: 105.74
