Default Driveways - Clearance issues - What has everyone else done?

I have stasis street sports not very lowered... I'm at about 25.5 maybe 25.6. I also have a Forge 3" cat back. I can clear almost ANY speedbump no problem, and some I go diagonal for safety, but I'm about to move into a new house and I'm finding that I scratch my exhaust on almost every driveway.

What have you guys done? I'm renting but I'm wondering what the owner would say if I asked if i could lay some blacktop filler at the edge of the driveway to make it more level. These are not steep driveways, they are just raised above actual street level by about a foot.

My gf is suggesting I make some kind of Ramp out of 2x4's.

One house has a gorgeous garage too!

Raise the rear 1/2 an inch?

Change something about the way my exhaust is mounted (already did this to gain clearance, think it's maxed out).

Go in diagonally. I have to do it. Very annoying, but it works.

Default I've seen steel plates used as driveway ramps

Not sure they would work in your case, but if so since they are temporary the owner might be more likely to be ok with it.

Default I had the same issue... Tried everything you could think of...

Finally I just went to Home Depot and got 2 1x12's and put them inside the garage. Drive you car in slowly without the boards. When your car starts to scrape, back the car out 6" and put the boards down. This should give you enough clearance to avoid scraping. Hope this helps.

I never scrape on any driveway and I'm at 25.5". I always go in on an angle.

Default I'm about that hight with a 3" Miltek. Used to scrape the exhaust a lot until

I rehung it better. It's a PITA to get it adusted right and up in there nice and tight. Then I used band clamps and high temp silicone to clamp the pieces together.
