Default drove her home last night!!!

thanks everyone who gave me heads up with mods
trip back from Phily to Northern VA, coolant temp gauge was fluctuating from middle (where i think it should be) to very near C (Cold) then it goes back up to the middle. This is the car that's been on the road for about 15 minutes. I had a complete check up at the dealership before i picked her up.
Temp gauge stayed in the middle for the most part of the trip. It never went down close to C again. Is this normal 'thing' for these twin-turbo cars?
any advise will be very helpful

Jon

Sensor is intermittent, get it replaced. Middle is normal. Congrats.

Default Temp sensor doesn't always throw a code. take a picture of it

with oil temp up, and water temp down, to give to the tech and SA. Otherwise, if they do not witness it, they can not fix it. Also, if you have a little rough idle sometimes, this fixed mine
