Default each turbo timers downfall.?

hey guys, as many of you know i put in my apexi turbo timer, it works good, however my check engine light is on, i dont care if it is something small to me when the light is on, somethings not right or compatible, so i may get a new one depending on what i find out...

everyone says that w/ there tt they cant use there alarm or there remote lock...for some reason i can soon as i step out while its counting down i hit lock and it arms the car..

i want a TT that does this, yet also throws no codes... at most maybe some beeps \

what are the downfalls to yall turbo timers whichever you guys have, and which ones work flawlessly
