Default Easy to cause damage to underside of the front bumper?

So, I'm putting the car up on ramps to do my first oil change on it (boo for Audi not include a 15K oil change) and find the underside of the front bumper is scratched to all hell. There is also some minor cracking near on the leading front edge. How hard is it to cause that kind of damage at STOCK ride height? As a second owner I'm beginning to wonder if my car didn't have a careful first owner.

Default Either was a parking curb stop, or went through an intersection too fast

and bottomed out like I did.

Default I'd bet money >50% of the cars belonging to people on this forum have scratches

under the front bumper. Stock ride height or not, it's fairly easy to accomplish if you're not very careful.

At stock height, not that easy, but still possible exiting driveways. Lowered, very easy.

Default Faily easy...mine is scratched to hell as well...

stock height...only maybe 2-3 bump stops in parking lots hit, the rest just driveways and stuff...none of it is visable unless you're under the car...so I don't really care too much.

Default In almost 20k miles, I only had 3 light scratches on my bumper, but that was before the accident and

the new bumper. Now I don't have any and plan to keep it that way. <fingers crossed>
