ECU question

H, M and T boxes will work
you will need to change your instrument cluster coding (change adaptation channel 60 value to 1025)
Of course if you buy an H box you wont even need to do that. I happen to know someone selling an H box ECU.

M and T are the easiest- I belive that A can be recoded as well. Plenty of M and T GIAC out there...
for sale (including me :-P
M and T just need the instrument cluster recoded which takes about a minute with VagCom

In this case, H would be easiest. The A Box would need to be reflashed to h,m or t code by the tuner
Then you would need to change the soft coding and channel 60 value as appropriate

True- direct swap out. I have run both M (GIAC) and T (ASP hybrid code which I think is actually M..
code) on my H box car. I guess I had APR H code on there too at one point.
have you had any bites on you APR ECU? I lucjed out and sold my H box on Ebay for $850. The used ECU market seems to run hot and cold.

I havent had any bites recently
I had a few people express interest, but then back out. I've ran a lot of different software in H and M boxes with no problem:
Stock H
Giac H
AMS M
ASP M code on an H box
APR H
I'd love to get that much for my APR chip. Its flippin loaded, so Im amazed that more people aren't interested considering my price.
