EDL is a function of the ABS, correct? So then how come when I pull the ABS fuse, EDL still works?

EDL uses the ABS wheel sensors but not the ABS unit.

Every post in the archives says that by pulling the ABS fuse you disable the EDL. Not true then?

I think it would have to use the ABS system. How else is it going to apply brakes?

last time i tried to disable edl it was a disaster.

i never looked back heh

Default You pull the ABS fuse EDL does not work. You'd only need to do this on a 2000...
Or just install an EDL defeat switch like I have.
