Look at my air intake temps and you can see how good those AWE/McNeil intercoolers work.

Default well, more specifically, the others had larger MAFs, so the cross section measured air flow is lower

When one increases airflow, you can certainly exceed the limits of the stock sensor/MAF. One can retain the same sensor if the MAF housing is enlarged. Doing this lowers the sensor reading to stay within the limits of the sensor.

Matt/Erik/Dave all have larger MAF housings and use the stock sensor.

Andrew has stock sensor and MAF, but his boost is lower, thus lower airflow.

I have RS4 MAF/sensor. The RS4 MAF is not as large as the others who have changed, thus my readings are higher for the same given airflow.

So long as the software accounts for the MAF size, all is well.

Bottom line is that the MAF values as reported can not be directly compared as they don't represent reality. Well, actually mine and Andrew's do, but the others are scaled.

Default oh, I know exactly what you are talking about. Good ole "Dynamic Systems" at RPI ;-)

I think that's what it was called. Or was it Intro Control Systems. Damn, now I forget.

Anyway, here's my example which is indeed showing this:

is it "reading" higher or is it actually seeing more air flow? The rs4 MAF is 83mm correct?

Default StgV doesn't do much at all in regards to adapting n75 duty cycle.

You could slap a tcd on there and boost wouldn't change much at all.
