EMERGENCY: DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO SS BRAKE LINE INSTALL??
Has anyone on the S4 forum ever installed SS lines??? I've STFA and it appears that noone has written about succesfully installing SS brake lines all around. If someone knows how to please post.

its easy
jack up car, remove wheels, remove brake lines (and either plug or drain all fluid and refill when all the lines are connected), install new lines by attaching them to the caliper then the hardline, bleed brakes, and youre done.
I HIGHLY reccommend a brake fitting wrench, 11mm i think. you can get them at most auto parts stores. otherwise you may strip a hardline fitting. they look like a box wrench with part of the circle cut out to fit around the line. its a good investment.

It's pretty straight forward......
You definitely need a flare wrench. I don't remember what size. IIRC it's 11mm like lookaught said.
The rear line nuts may be a b!tch to get off. Be patient and have a can of your favorite penetrating lubricant around (i.e. Liquid Wrench).
Brake fluid is nasty stuff. Use rubber gloves and don't get it on your paint.
Just remove the old line, plug the hole with a small rubber stop and when you're ready, install the new line.
I like putting the car up on 4 jack stands when working on the car, but I suppose you could do one wheel at a time.
