Engine Groaning noise between 1k and 1.5k.

Tech said it was normal when I took it in for my 5k. They checked the turbo recirc valve and it checked out OK. Do others have a slight groaning noise prior to turbo spool at 1.8k ? It goes away completely at about 1.7k or so ..

not a heatshield noise, right?
