and now I have the mod-bug even worse than before. His car was just sooooo smooth. Going from driving my stock S4 to driving his with the chip, suspension, brakes...ahhhhh. He has a great mix of goodies on there, including a nice RS4 front end. Booo...my poor little S4 is so...slow!!

It's kinda lonely up here in Erie, PA. I have yet to see another B5 S4 up here, except for s4mig when he "helps" me with my car. A Beaverun GTG during their open lapping days might not be bad....

and that you did the Friday open lap thing at BeaveRun. I would love to go, and I think Eric is wanting to go up as well. I need to get a helmet and other goodies first!! Can't wait though...I'm super mod-itchy now.

My schedule is kind of crappy right now for the next several weeks, but there is a lapping day on Sunday May 9th I may go to, providing I can change my call schedule around a bit. I'm about 70% sure I'll be able to make that day. As far as helmets, etc, Beaverun does have helmets available for rent. If you are planning on buying helmet, gloves, etc, I bought my stuff at Saferacer.com. Seem to have the best prices and they ship stuff free & quick. Customer service is also top notch.

I'm a little antsy about getting on the track and having appropriate insurance coverage. I really don't feel safe doing anything w/o the extra insurance coverage, and there's all sorts of stuff to go with that. Regardless...I'd like to at least drive up (only a half hour away...) and see you guys run!
